In Puerto Vallarta since 1960.

In 1960, Inversiones y Fraccionamientos S.A. de C.V. acquired over 200-00-00 Hectares (about 495 acres) in Mismaloya, for their development and urbanization.

Inversiones y Fraccionamientos, S.A. de C.V. (IFSA) obtained on September 27th, 1979 a “Declaratoria de Zona de Desarrollo Turístico Nacional” (National Touristic Development Zone Declaration), granted by the “Secretarios de Estado de Asentamientos Urbanos y Obras Públicas, la Secretaría de la Reforma Agraria y la Secretaría de Turismo” (Urban Settlements and Civil Works, Agrarian Reform and Tourism Secretaries of State).

Such decree provides Hotel Zone, Leisure Clinics, Convention Center, Nautical Club, Tennis Courts, Cafeteria, Bars, as well as a Commercial Plaza and Gas Station, which will generate 3,500 jobs derived from 6,000 indirect jobs by the regional investment market, within an area of 250-00- 00 hectares.

It promoted the construction of the highway which connects Puerto Vallarta, Mismaloya and the rest of the coast line in the State of Jalisco, officially establishing Federal shoreline areas, installing the electric lines service in the zone, getting the water concession for public and domestic uses of the Mismaloya River, among others.

IFSA DEVELOPMENTS

Inversiones y Fraccionamientos, S.A. de C.V., sold the land and served as a consultant during the construction of Hotel La Jolla de Mismaloya, which is actually the Barceló Hotel in Mismaloya.

We also developed and sold Lomas de Mismaloya Land Development (totally sold), with its Lomas and Mirador Sections, and developed Lomas del Pacifico Land Development.

Lomas del Pacifico Land Development was authorized by the Honorable Puerto Vallarta’s City Hall in 1985, with 188,001.07 square meters area (46.5 Acres), divided in 6 blocks with 200 residential, condominiums and commercial lots from 200.00 square meters (2,150.00 square feet) and bigger.

Inversiones y Fraccionamientos, S.A., de C.V., incorporated in 1960, is dedicated to urbanize and market its own land developments in cities such as Mexico, Cuernavaca, Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta.
